Surprise !!

last night was soo much fun :)

for the past couple of weeks my sisters and i, with the help of my auntie
have been planning our parents a surprise 25th wedding anniversary party
and it happened last night

bec and i set up yesterday and met the family over lunch
then after dad got home from hockey and got changed
we all headed up to the rsl coz the parents thought we were just taking them out for dinner
then we led them to the room and walked them in
and everyone screamed "SURPRISE"
they were so surprised my mother even cried :'(
it was very sweet

the food was amazing
and the people were wonderful
my uncle MC'd for the night
there were some great speeches
from my grandfather and some of the guests

it was really fitting for my parents
they deserved it :)
my mother cried, my sister cried. even i shed a few tears

afterwards the family came back to our place an continued to drink
their drunk talk is quite amusing

there were a lot of comments during the night about how people were proud of my sisters and i
and how we were great kids
it was very sweet

it was a great night and very worth it :)
